We have been in business since 2012 and our products are currently stocked in some of the leading art and design stores across the countr.

Our Karten Design Fabrik cards are designed and manufactured in Berlin from the highest quality materials.

Our most popular material is 350GSM off-white cardboard, an FSC & PEFC certified uncoated premium paper without optical brighteners (OBA).

This means our cards provide an excellent writing surface for fountain pens, ballpoint pens, pencils or markers. They do not print through or run, and you can clearly feel the quality in the texture and thickness.

All of our cards are printed in a small family business in Kreuzberg, Berlin, supporting local expertise and craftsmanship. We also prefer to employ people rather than machines, with each card is individually inspected and packaged by hand.

Our designs convey emotions and feelings through graphics and without the use of text. In this way, the cards can be individually determined by the giver. This approach creates an interesting space for interpretation, self-expression and inspiration.
